What is Dorn Method and Breuss Massage?
Dorn Method is a gentle alignment technique for the spine and joints, as well as a simple self-help method. The Dorn Method is a range of unique manual techniques and exercises, which gently help vertebrae and joints slip into their natural positions.
Movement is used to facilitate the process, instead of high impact techniques like crunching or clicking. The use of natural body movements makes the Dorn Method very gentle and safe form of manipulation. The self-help techniques are empowering and assist in maintaining a long-term balance. The treatment is suitable for all ages, including babies.
Breuss Massage is a relaxing and gentle inter-vertebral disc massage, which complements the Dorn Method.
Who can benefit from Dorn Method & Breuss Massage treatment?
Anyone with health problems directly or indirectly connected to the spinal column.
Dieter Dorn (founder and developer of Dorn Method) recognised that physically, the bones are the core of the body. All our nerves and meridians run through the spine and therefore good alignment is vital for health and well being. Once the bone structure is aligned and balanced, other therapies are often more effective. Sometimes even unnecessary.
- Conditions directly connected to the spinal column include: Back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches, migraines, joint pains (shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, ankle, jaw)
- Conditions indirectly connected to the spinal column include: Constipation, colic, cystatis, vertigo, depression, fatigue, tinnitus, IBS and many more.
Often 3 treatments are enough to correct misalignment and during the treatments self-help is also taught. Due to the unilateral nature of so many daily activities, a regular maintenance check up and treatment is recommended.
